Code of Conduct

This Code of Conduct outlines the expected professional and ethical behaviour of all employees, contractors, facilitators and representatives of Design Seven Ltd t/a D7 People (hereafter referred to as D7 People). It ensures that our team acts with integrity, respect and professionalism when engaging with clients, stakeholders, programme participants and one another.

1. Professional Conduct

- Maintain the highest standards of integrity, honesty and respect in all interactions.
- Represent D7 People in a way that upholds the mana of our clients, our programmes and the communities we serve.
- Be punctual, prepared and present during all sessions, meetings and engagements.
- Remain within your scope of expertise—refer or escalate when needed.

2. Participant Safety and Boundaries

- Prioritise the emotional, cultural and physical safety of all participants always.
- Maintain professional boundaries. Personal relationships with participants during or after programme delivery are strongly discouraged and must be disclosed if they arise.
- Avoid giving personal contact information unless pre-approved and required for programme delivery.
- Do not engage in any behaviour that could be perceived as coercive, manipulative, discriminatory or inappropriate.

3. Confidentiality

- Respect the confidentiality of all participant information and programme data.
- Do not share or discuss participant details outside of approved supervision, reporting or required legal processes.
- Store all sensitive information securely and in line with D7 People’s privacy policies and contractual obligations.

4. Cultural Competency

- Acknowledge and respect the diverse cultural backgrounds of all participants and team members.
- Uphold Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles in your work, including partnership, protection and participation.
- Seek ongoing development in cultural confidence and be open to feedback from participants, peers and leadership.

5. Health, Safety & Reporting

- Follow all health and safety protocols while on-site or delivering programmes.
- Immediately report any safety concerns, incidents or breaches of this Code of Conduct to the Programme Manager or Director.
- Understand the escalation process for participant disclosures (e.g. self-harm, abuse or threats).

6. Integrity in Delivery

- Deliver content in alignment with the Limitless Mindset™ Framework, or other programme-specific models as briefed.
- Use inclusive, strengths-based language that uplifts and empowers.
- Never promote personal services or unrelated business interests to participants unless explicitly authorised.

7. Social Media & Public Representation

- When referencing D7 People or its programmes online or in public forums, act in accordance with our brand values and messaging.
- Do not post participant content, photos or quotes without express written consent and approval from leadership.
- Avoid public commentary that could damage the reputation or relationships of D7 People, stakeholders or our clients.

8. Breaches and Consequences

Any breach of this Code of Conduct may result in:
- Formal warning or performance review
- Immediate removal from programme delivery
- Termination of contract or employment
- Reporting to relevant authorities (if necessary)

Acknowledgement

I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to comply with the D7 People Code of Conduct. I understand that failure to uphold this code may result in disciplinary action or termination of my engagement.
